As a part of home work Aadi has to draw rip. First he asked me but i didn't know how to draw it and then Aadi said 'I know, how to draw rip"

First make a square and then make zig zag lines in it.

Aaditya is very well spoken.  Sometimes when I have something that I need explained by one of the students, I will call on Aaditya.  His phonetics in English are very crisp and clear, and his grammar is also at a high level.  And on top of all of this, he enjoys sharing his opinion with others, as well as collaborating creatively when we are all making up a story together.

What an Idea sir Ji - आदि का आइडिया

Aaditya's Class

Hello.  Today, Aaditya had another good day in our class.  He and the other children had an idea about adding something to our classroom schedule.  As of now, I have a large sized diagram with all of our daily classes - with a toy plastic frog jumping from class to class to show the kids what is classes are happening on a given day.  When the frog gets finished with his day, I allow him to jump into the water (also depicted up on our board).  But today, Aaditya had an idea, "what if we give the frog a diving board".  It was such a good idea, that I allowed him to make one out of paper.  We stuck it up on the classroom schedule diagram, and Aaditya was very proud of himself - watching the frog jump off of his diving board and into the pool.  I wonder what he would recall if you asked him about this...

Learning Thai - थाई भाषा

स्कुल में सप्ताह में तीन दिन द्वितीय भाषा (second language) की कक्षा होती है.. पिछले समेस्टर में मैंने हिंदी द्वितीय भाषा चुनी थी.. पर जितनी हिंदी स्कुल में सिखाई जाती है उतनी तो मैं कब का सीख गया.. तो इस समेस्टर में second language change कर दी.. और अब में सप्ताह में तीन दिन थाई सीखता हूँ.. ये देखें थाई नंबर....

Today aaditya started soccer classes in Modern International School Bangkok, the coaches are from Can you kick it. It will be once a week every Saturday at 10. He enjoyed the first day and want to continue. lets see....

Last two days Baba spend his evening teaching me 'how to add' so yesterday I decided to be a teacher and let him solve the problem with me... Teacher Aadi!!

My Beach

Yesterday Aadi thought of drawing a Beach.. and what he draw 

a Sun, Clouds, Waves, Beach Umbrellas, sand bags and Toys

and after completing he realized that choice of red color was not appropriate, he changed it to Blue.

so clouds and waves are blue and rest is red...

when asked about sand bags.. he said he saw sand bags at Pattaya beach... wow good observation Aadi!!

From teacher - 18 Sept

Today, Aaditya got to be the leader of our class (everyone gets to do this once every three weeks).  He has recently learned that when we go somewhere like the lunchroom, or the playground, we can either go straight or 'u-turn' to get there.  So he had fun with his leader duties today.  He asked me every time "which way are we going?".  Then, I'd point to which direction we were going, and he would go to the back of the line instead of the front. Then, he would call the rest of the kids to attention, and lead the rest of the group in a wide u-turn before starting down the hall.  This is one of the group's favorite funny things to do.  They all love the u-turn......

Note from teacher - 17 Sept

Today, Aaditya had a nice time once again.  In literacy class, he participated in a Bingo game where he and his teammate had to search for foods on their bingo cards.  It was a good exercise for him because he was able to take his finger and first point to one of five categories before I read the word.  He would point to either grain, milk, protein, fruits or vegetables (I would tell them the category first), then he would look to see if he had the right food within the group.  He eventually got Bingo, and he stayed engaged and enthusiastic for the duration of the activity.

New Board, Table and Chair

This week end i got a Black Board, its 2 sided board the other side is white and I can write with marker on it. I also got a study table and chair of my favorite blue color. Here are some picture.
